Hyatt Regency Delhi
Bhikaji Cama Place's business landmark — Delhi's first Hyatt and the capital's conference anchor
Hyatt Hotels Corporation
Founder · Est. 1983 · Bhikaji Cama Place, Ring Road, Delhi NCR
The Hyatt Regency Delhi opened in 1983 at Bhikaji Cama Place on the Ring Road — bringing the Hyatt hospitality brand to India for the first time. The hotel was designed as a business traveller's hotel: large conference facilities, efficient service, and a location on the Ring Road that provided accessibility rather than heritage aesthetics.
Over four decades, the Hyatt Regency has served as Delhi's conference and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) anchor. The ballroom and meeting facilities have hosted some of the city's most significant corporate and government events. La Piazza (Italian) and TK's (the bar) developed their own followings beyond the hotel's business clientele.
The hotel was one of the first international luxury hotel brands to establish a presence in Delhi, preceding the wave of international hotel entries that followed liberalisation. Its four-decade tenure makes it one of Delhi's longest-operating international hotel properties.

“We were Delhi's first Hyatt. Forty years later, we are still Delhi's Hyatt. The conference rooms have hosted the decisions that shaped industries.”

The Experience
The hotel operates as a business machine: efficient check-in, well-maintained rooms, and conference facilities that function without friction. The Ring Road location provides accessibility — this is a hotel chosen for efficiency rather than romance.
