ITC Gardenia
Residency Road's LEED Platinum — where ITC's responsible luxury meets Bangalore's green ambitions
ITC Hotels (ITC Limited)
Founder · Est. 2011 · Residency Road, Bangalore
ITC Gardenia opened in 2011 on Residency Road — central Bangalore — as one of the world's largest LEED Platinum-certified hotels. The hotel brought ITC Hotels' 'Responsible Luxury' philosophy to its most complete expression: solar energy, rainwater harvesting, waste management, and carbon-neutral operations implemented at luxury-hotel scale.
The Residency Road address places ITC Gardenia at the centre of Bangalore's commercial and social district — MG Road, Brigade Road, and the central business area are all within walking distance. The hotel serves the corporate traveller and the dining public simultaneously, with a restaurant programme that includes Dum Pukht Jolly Nababs (a variation on ITC's Awadhi concept) and Cubbon Pavilion (all-day dining).
ITC Hotels' sustainability commitment — documented, audited, and consistently maintained — positions ITC Gardenia as the benchmark for luxury sustainability in Indian hospitality. The hotel proves that environmental responsibility and luxury service are not contradictory.

“Luxury and sustainability are not in conflict. They are two expressions of care — one for the guest, one for the planet. We provide both.”
What Defines ITC Gardenia
The Experience
The hotel's sustainability is invisible to the casual guest — the luxury experience is complete and uncompromised. The energy comes from renewable sources; the water is recycled; the waste is managed. The guest experiences five-star comfort while occupying one of the world's greenest hotel buildings.
